We took the Wildlife Loop Road through Custer State Park in
South
Dakota. How amazing
was this? To drive around a bend and
have
Burros staring at you, walking to your car and looking in
the window,
not afraid at all, very very curious. Round another bend and see deer
feeding in the grassland nearby. Looking but not alarmed because
visitors have stopped to stare yet again. But the real heart stopper
were the Bison, many many Bison who knew they had the right of
way down the roads, through the trees, wherever. When you are the
size of a Bison you rule!
